Independent PPC audits
Audits of paid search accounts, with findings you own outright.
A PPC audit gives you an independent second opinion on your paid search account, with findings you own. In-housing support helps your team run the account themselves, with outside benchmarking so it doesn’t drift.
Some advertisers want an honest outside view of an account before they change anything. Others want help building the skills and process to run paid search themselves. We do both as standalone work.
Audits of paid search accounts, with findings you own outright.
Help for teams bringing activity in-house, including training and process.
Ongoing reporting and quarterly benchmarking for teams that have already in-housed.
Nothing commits you to handing us the account afterwards, whatever the audit finds.
A PPC audit is a review of an existing paid search account, such as a Google Ads account, to find wasted spend, structural problems and missed opportunity. You get the findings as a document you own, prioritised by
An agency's PPC audit shouldn't be taken on trust, ours included. Judge it on specifics: a useful audit names the issue, quantifies it and tells you what to do about it.
A sales document lists generic problems and concludes that you need an agency. If ours reads like that, don’t hire us.
We’re employee-owned and hold no media inventory, so there’s no volume target shaping the findings. A reasonable proportion of our audits end with clients implementing the recommendations themselves. That’s a better outcome than managing an account we wouldn’t improve.
An agency should tell you to in-house when that’s the right answer. Pretending otherwise doesn’t keep clients; it just loses them more slowly. Inhousing works well for high-volume, repeatable execution where you have the headcount and the account is reasonably stable. You get speed, control and a lower cost per action.
In-housing works badly when the team ends up isolated: no benchmark for what good looks like, no exposure to what’s changing, nobody to challenge a decision. That’s usually what makes in-housed accounts drift over about eighteen months, and it rarely announces itself until the numbers have already moved.
In-housing support is built around whatever your team is missing. Reporting and benchmarking is where in-housed teams most often ask for help, because it’s hard to replicate on your own: it depends on seeing more than one account.
Building the account architecture and the process before handover.
Bringing your team up to speed on the platforms, and on the thinking behind the decisions.
Every channel's data in one report, so your team isn't reading six dashboards.
An outside check on whether performance is drifting, and how it benchmarks against peers.
A route to specialists for the things that come up rarely and matter a great deal.
Audits and in-housing raise fair questions about independence, obligation and what happens next. These are the ones we hear most.
A Google Ads audit covers account structure, keywords and match types, negative
keywords, bidding, ad copy and assets, landing pages, conversion tracking and any
overlap with organic search. You get the findings as a document you own, prioritised by

Yes, we’ll audit a PPC account another agency manages, and it’s one of the more common reasons people get in touch. You own the findings. What you do with them, including handing them to your current agency, is entirely your decision.
No, you don’t have to switch agencies after a PPC audit. It’s standalone work with no obligation attached, and plenty of clients take the findings and implement them internally.
Yes. Teams that have already in-housed can use our reporting, quarterly benchmarking, training and access to specialists without us managing the media. Several clients work with us on exactly that basis.
A free account review is a sales tool, designed to find problems. A paid PPC audit is designed to find the truth, which includes the possibility that your account is in decent shape and the problem sits somewhere else entirely.
We’ll tell you what’s wasted, what’s missing, and whether you need an agency at all.
